How to Take Advantage of Our World-Class Education Benefits

We know that many of our team members are interested in continuing education. But for many, college tuition can be a hurdle. That's why we've created a new tuition reimbursement program that includes these benefits:

Employee Status Current DISH
TA Policy
Bellevue University
Campus@Work
Total Benefit when you
attend Bellevue University
Hourly Team Member: $2,000 $3,250 Up to $5,250
Salary Team Member: $5,000 $5,000 Up to $10,000
Family Member: $0 $2,500 Up to $2,500

All regular, full-time team members – both salaried and hourly – who have been employed at DISH for at least 90 days are eligible to participate in this Education Benefit program. To participate in this program, you must complete the Tuition Reimbursement Part I Form on or before the first day of class and receive approval of your request.

NOTE: These generous tuition assistance amounts are available annually, which means each year you are enrolled at Bellevue University, you can qualify for up to these amounts. In order to make your funding go further, the amount of tuition assistance you can access each academic term is limited. It's always a good idea to check the tuition assistance policy to ensure the degree you're interested in is covered by this tuition assistance program.

Bellevue University Selected as The Partner for This Extraordinary Program

Bellevue University's leadership in serving adult learners made them a natural choice for this tuition assistance program. They understand the needs and priorities that adults have when going back to school. And they add many benefits to this program, including:

  • Payment Deferment
Upon approval, Bellevue University will defer payment due dates of tuition and fees for 45 days from the end of class/session.
  • Save Money by Transferring Credits Without Charge
If you've already taken some college classes, you shouldn't have to repeat them. Bellevue University is a leader in evaluating credits you already have so you can transfer them into your degree program. And they don't charge our employees a transfer fee!

The best way to find out how many credits you already have that can transfer into your degree is to talk to a Bellevue University Enrollment Counselor. Your Enrollment Counselor can also suggest other ways of earning college credit for work you've already done.
  • Other Types of Financial Aid
    • Federal Financial Aid
Bellevue University participates in all major federal and state grant and loan programs to help you pay for your direct education costs, such as tuition, books, and supplies. To apply for federal financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, annually. The Bellevue University school code is 002538. If you are using this tuition assistance program to pursue a bachelor's degree, you must fill out a FAFSA and complete the financial aid process.
Please note: Non-U.S. students are not eligible for U.S. federal financial aid and are not required to complete a FAFSA.
    • Veterans Education Benefits
Bellevue University welcomes Education benefits and has VA-approved experts who will work with you to access and use the education funding you're entitled to.
